Default Exploit found in flash player.

Symantec announced that they discovered an exploit in the flash player. The exploit affects Windows, Mac and Wii computers. Could it be that it also affects the PSP? And if yes, could this exploit be used in the future, maybe on the slim PSP?

A link to a vid is here: I don't know what's in it, because currently I'm firewalled and not allowed to watch Youtube vids

Hmm...i've wached the video...and it displays 3 platforms, Windows, Macintosh and Wii whereby the browser crashed. It's an exploit but whether we can use it to downgrade...we would have to try out....

I've just signalled the exploit, but I don't know a) if the PSP is also affected (mobile flash) and b) when it is exploited, if it's usable at all because the internet part of the firmware seems pretty well protected.

I don't understand why crashing the PSP would downgrade the firmware.

not directly but a crash may lead in a buffer overflow and crafted data may being executed by signed code

only if exploit is kernel exploit and if exploit allows you to execute enough code(unsigned)
